Animal Wisdom

Zebra Wisdom

As an animal lover, I am obsessed (in a good way) with the reality of other animals.

What I mean by that is: I constantly wonder what it’s like to be a whale, a snake, a butterfly or any other animal that I encounter.

Recently, my curiosity was piqued by the Zebra, one of our monthly guests in the Animal Wisdom Circle.
What is it like to live in a herd? To have 4 legs? To be a divine being in a Zebra body?

In this week’s blog, I share the wisdom I received from a Zebra during our conversation.

These were the take-home messages that I have been applying to my life and they are helping me become a better person.

I hope they inspire you, too!

The comment “We are prey animals and our lives are short, so we live each day to the fullest.” completely caught me off guard and filled my heart with gratitude and love for their selfless community involvement. What a reminder to BE in the moment, and to use that BEing to help serve others. 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤

It all resonates with me, so my take away is love. Every action, whether it is be being generous to the group or sacrificing oneself for the better of the whole is love. One may think these are survival skills, but the message of being an animal of prey, so live each day to the fullest is more than a survival skill. This is intelligence! And still based on love because you are making others happy and loving yourself (self love) by being in the moment at all times.
