Preparing for Transitions

As pet lovers, it’s inevitable that we will have to say goodbye to an animal in our family. This can be one of the hardest things we ever do.

I remember when my dog Iko told me that she had 2 weeks to live – I had a mini panic attack, wondering how I would breathe after she passed. Logically, of course, I knew that I would go on living, but emotionally it felt impossible

Porter’s Farewell 

When my neighbor’s dog Porter was making his transition, I just happened to be interviewing Phoebe Fazio, an amazing sound healer who channels all kinds of healing sounds using her voice, crystal bowls and other instruments, for the 2018 Animal Wisdom World Summit. 

When I told her during the interview that today was Porter’s day to transition, she offered a custom sound healing for me, Porter and his family.
