I also have a team of spirit guides and power animals that I connect with during shamanic journeys. I have one spirit guide, my body protector, that I call on every day for protection as part of my grounding exercise each morning. I feel much stronger and safer when I call on this guide. It never occurred to me to call on my other guides on a regular basis. Thanks for this reminder that they are there for me.
