Dragonfly Wisdom
When I was writing my book Divine Beings -The Spiritual Lives and Lessons of Animals, I was all tied up in knots mentally trying to figure out how to organize it. I read books on writing, watched videos by writing coaches, and tried to fit my ideas into someone else’s formula. It wasn’t working and I was stressed out and unsure about what to do next.
And then a big orange dragonfly flew in front of my face and landed on my arm.
As I marveled at this beautiful being, I was reminded of the wisdom I had received from a dragonfly the previous year in the Animal Wisdom Circle.
Suddenly, I knew exactly what I needed to do and how I would organize my book.
From that day, writing my book became easy and fun and joyful – instead of the stressful mess, it was up until then.
Now when I am feeling lost and uncertain about my next steps, I often turn to Dragonfly for guidance.
Why?
Because the wisdom of the Dragonfly is all about being yourself and living your life – not following what someone else is doing.
Even after my success writing my book, sometimes I still need that reminder!
This week, I share a beautiful video highlighting the wisdom of the Dragonfly that has helped me so much in my life.
Enjoy!

I am interested in knowing animal kingdom and their language of communication. Though quite busy in my own field. Dr Cara Gubbins insights are very good .

Loved the video! Very peaceful and great message. I am looking for my ‘niche’.

One day I was walking to the metro (not a usual dragonfly habitat). I was wearing a pink shirt embossed with dragonflies and a blue dragonfly landed on my shirt. I’ve never had a dragonfly land on me before or again. Did it see the other dragonflies? Or did it have greater meaning? It seemed like too much of a coincidence so I decided it had greater meaning and bought dragonfly earrings as a reminder.

What a nice, brief, succinct message from dragonfly and damselfly! Thank you.
