Saying Goodbye

When my 13-year-old Aussie Iko died, I was bereft. My heart hurt. My soul hurt. My hands missed petting her soft fur and my face missed getting doggy kisses from her.

From my work as an Animal Communicator for 6 years before her passing, I knew that she was fine. Actually, I knew that she was better than fine, but I still grieved her departure.

So when she visited me as I was drifting off to sleep one night, laughing and barking and jumping up on me, I was comforted beyond words. I immediately shifted out of grief and sadness and loss and into gratitude and joy, experiencing the gift of her love and her presence in my life.

Staying Connected

Today, seven years after her death, I still miss Iko. But that connection with her (and subsequent, less dramatic visits) has reminded me that love is stronger than death and we can stay connected with our beloved pets even after they have passed on from the physical world.

One of my favorite things to do as an Animal Communicator is to pass on messages to my human clients from their pets who have passed on. These readings are so comforting and inspiring that deep, soul-level healing occurs for all of us.
